I went back through some old Creativate tutorials & found one for a floating/splitting image card & since I've never made one I thought I'd try it. The one thing that was used was a metallic type of thread that we used to sell & of course I had no idea where mine would be so I opted to use Linen Thread. The making of this card looks more difficult than it really is, unless you're me & some of the dimensionals don't really stick & you're linen thread comes undone & now you have to try to put it back together without taking off the whole thing in fear of tearing said card. Yep, I had fun! LOL!
For the base of my card, I used Gray Granite Cardstock, with a layer of the retired Bloom Where You're Planted DSP. For the circles, I used Evening Evergreen & Basic White Cardstock, die-cut with Layering Circle Dies. I used both Elephant Parade & Very Best Occasions Stamp Sets with Gray Granite & Evening Evergreen Ink Pads, I also used Gray Granite & Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Combo Packs to color the elephant. To put things together, I used Linen Thread, both regular & Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, along with Multipurpose Glue. I think if I ever try this card again I would use the metallic thread or something similar as I think those may adhere better, but I am not positive. I'm sorry I don't have instructions for you, but I'm sure if you googled floating/spinning image card you can probably find better instructions than I ever could.
