Grassy Grove - Someone Cares

Hello stampers,
So I had a great time this weekend, I virtually attended Creativate Spring Retreat & have many ideas to work on. Today's card is from one of the pre-challenges they do leading up to the actual week. The challenge was to mask off 1/2" from each side then stamp whatever you chose making it a no layer/embellishment card, the part I didn't read was to use Stazon. UGH! It would have made this card so much easier if I had read that from the start. Oh well, I'm not a big fan of Stazon because of the smell anyway & I can mark this challenge done! LOL.
I chose to use the Grassy Grove Stamp Set for this card with Basic White Cardstock. After masking off the edges, I used my Blending Brushes to add some Balmy Blue Ink for the skyline. Next, I used Old Olive Ink for the grassy area & the pine trees (also used an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker for the trunks.) For the deer, I used the new Pecan Pie Ink color. The sentiment is also from the same set stamped using Early Espresso Ink. Although you can't see them I did lightly score around the stamped image before I started the card.
