Yesterday I went looking for a challenge to do & found the one below which was to use 2-3 of the new In Colors.
For this card, I chose to use the new Earthen Texture Stamp Set, I was drawn to this set while looking thru the catalog the first time, so of course it was on my first order. I started my card with a layer of Basic White Cardstock, first adding a small strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock towards the bottom to make is look like a shelf. Next, I stamped the small vase with the Copper Clay Ink Pad(#1) then stamped the wheat with the Wild Wheat Ink Pad(#2) before die-cutting them with the Earthen Texture Dies. I also used a piece of the Earthen Elegance DSP & die-cut them with the larger vase die. I worked out a layout & then glued everything down with Multipurpose Glue. For the sentiment, I used the Pebbled Path Ink Pad(#3) on Basic White Cardstock then die-cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies & popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals before adding it on top of the vases. Next, I worked on the next layer which was a piece of Copper Clay Cardstock embossed with the Embossed Brick 3D Embossing Folder then used Mini Glue Dots to adhere to a Pebbled Path Cardstock base. I then adhered the stamped layer to the embossed layer using Mini Glue Dots as well.
