I was looking for a challenge to work on for today's card & I ending up finding 2, so I used both a color & sketch challenge for this card. I used to be a Brights type of girl, but I started to float more to the Regals but with this card I'm digging the Brights again. LOL!
I started with a strip of Basic White Cardstock, then stamped the flowers from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set, using the Berry Burst, Starry Sky & Lemon Lolly Ink Pads this was then backed with a layer of Starry Sky Cardstock. For the Berry Burst Cardstock layer, I used the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder, this was then layered on top of a Lemon Lolly Cardstock base. For the sentiments, I used the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, first I stamped one on Basic White Cardstock with the Starry Sky Ink Pad then die cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies, for the second I used Starry Sky Cardstock with VersaMark Ink Pad & the white powder from the Basics Embossing Powders to emboss then fussy cut the banner end with the Paper Snips. After putting my card together, I added a few Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the straight end of the banner.
The color challenge is this week's challenge on the Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenges group, but since I wanted a sketch I used their challenge from last week as well.
