Technique Tuesday - Fun Folds

Hello stampers,

I hope you're having a great start to your week! I'm excited to participate in the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop, which focuses on Fun Folds. I love fun folds, and today I'll be sharing one from a video tutorial by Jackie Bolhuis.

I chose Nature's Harvest Stamp Set for the main focal point using Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink, then colored it in using Bubble Bath, Moody Mauve & Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For the base of the card, I used Moody Mauve along with the same color from the 2023-25 In Color DSP, the front of the card was then die-cut, along with the focal point with the (retired) Layering Circle Dies. For the sentiment, I used the Happy Labels Stamp Set with Basic White Cardstock & Moody Mauve Ink, then die-cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies, then added a thin piece of Bubble Bath Cardstock behind the sentiment before adding it to the front of the card.

To make sure that the focal point was placed right, I made sure to add Multipurpose Glue to half of the circle & closing it as above I was able to set it correctly on the inside. I decorated the folded part with the other flower stamp in the Nature's Harvest set using Moody Mauve Ink on Bubble Bath Cardstock.

The card then opens up again to add another sentiment from the Happy Labels Stamp Set with Moody Mauve Ink & where you can write your message,
