Trucking Along - Sunny Thoughts

Hello stampers,

Today's card was made for this week's Paper Players #PP650 sketch challenge. Oh my gosh, did it take me so many attempts to do the focal point due to smudging the ink that I ended up changing my color scheme altogether in hopes of getting one just right. Don't you hate when you do that, UGH!

I started with a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock & die-cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies, before stamping it using the Trucking Along Stamp Set with Memento Black, Lost Lagoon & Daffodil Delight Ink, along with Old Olive & Basic Black Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I used Daffodil Delight Cardstock for the next layer & embossed it using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. For the next layer, I used Basic White Cardstock with the Sketched Plaid Stamp Set using Lost Lagoon Ink, then drew additional lines using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. The 2 smaller layers were added to a Lost Lagoon Cardstock base. I added the focal point using Stampin' Dimensionals & then added the sentiment which also popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals on the right side. I finished my card by adding some Sequins Trio.
