Color Blocking With Good Feelings

Hello stampers,

I hope y'all got some stamping done this weekend because I got very little done as I'm re-organizing my craft room from all the other attempts that I've never really finished since I moved in & I won't reveal how long ago that was. LOL! This attempt may get me to see the better part of my floor vs. shifting from side to side & then giving up. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Today I chose to use a color-blocking technique for the main focus of my card. The great thing about this technique is you can cut it into as many pieces as you want as long as you have the same number of colors. So as you can see 3 cuts equals Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight & Lemon Lolly Cardstocks. To make sure that your stamping is consistent on each piece you should use something like our retired Stamparatus. I used one of the sentiments from the Good Feelings Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink. To make sure I had everything lined up both on the Basic Black Cardstock layer & the 3 yellow cardstock I used post-it tape but washi tape or anything that won't stick to the paper to tape them together than went around the edges with Multipurpose Glue, then finished off the inside. Lastly, I added a few Sparkle Gems to finish the card.
