Hello stampers,
So yesterday I was a happy demo when I not only received my copy of the upcoming mini catalog but also my pre-order. Not everything in that order was from that catalog though, I did get a 2 sets that were from the main catalog that have been on my want list but hadn't quite ordered yet. Today's card uses the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set, I just love these birds & the more samples I saw it was like "Ok, it's going on my next order." So here we are, LOL!
I found 2 old card challenges- a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches & a color combo from Color Throwdown. I really love that these birds can be colored with any color you desire, so I used Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon & Melon Mambo, not normally colors I would put together but I actually like the combo. I stamped the bird using Memento Black Ink & the glasses with Melon Mambo Ink on Basic White Cardstock & punched it out using the 2 3/8" Circle Punch, for the scalloped circle I used the retired Layering Circle Dies with Melon Mambo Cardstock. I used Smoky Slate Cardstock for the base of the card, then cut 1/2" strips of Lost Lagoon & Melon Mambo Cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set using Lost Lagoon & Melon Mambo Inks on the same color of cardstock. I popped the bird up using Stampin' Dimensionals before adding it to the card.

- Layer - 5 1/2 x 1/2
