Stamp Review Crew - Share A Milkshake

Hello stampers,

It's the 1st Monday of the month & that brings another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who share different ideas made with the featured stamp set. This week that stamp set is Share A Milkshake.

I started this card by stamping the ice cream dishes & ice cream from the Share A Milkshake Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam, & Early Espresso Ink Pads, along with the Stampin' Blends Deep Combo Pack to make the chocolate chips for my favorite mint chocolate ice cream, YUM! You probably can't tell in the 1st picture but hopefully, you can see in the 2nd that the dishes are glossy, we used to sell stuff that was called Glossy Effects I believe was great for these types of things but packing tape works just as well, LOL! I fussy cut the dishes & ice cream out using the Paper Snips so there wouldn't be a white border around. For the grids, I used Pecan Pie Cardstock with Adhesive Sheets and then die-cut using the Share A Milkshake Dies. For the background, I used Basic White Cardstock embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders, before attaching it to a Balmy Blue Cardstock base. For the sentiment, I used Balmy Blue Ink on Basic White Cardstock then punched one end using the Banners Pick A Punch. The ice cream & sentiment were popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals before being added to the card. Lastly I used a few Pastel Sequins to finish the card.
