Hello stampers,
It's the 1st Monday of the month & that brings another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who share different ideas made with the featured stamp set. This week that stamp set is Earthen Textures.
I decided to use a monochromatic theme with today's card using Pretty Peacock, as I'm not sure I've used it since it has been back & because it was one of the colors in the Earthen Elegance DSP. I saw a card on Pinterest that used this sketch & I decided to use it with this card. I divided up a layer of Basic White Cardstock into 3 pieces & cut it just a tad under on each piece so there would be an even border. For the left piece, I used the Earthen Texture Dies to die-cut the leaf into the white & then inlaid it with a Pretty Peacock Cardstock leaf. I also die-cut the double x's & laid them on top. I used Pretty Peacock Ink to stamp the sentiment from the set & the taller vase onto the other 2 pieces of Basic White Cardstock. On the 2nd vase, I used a piece of the Earthen Elegance DSP & then added a Pretty Peacock Cardstock topper. I finished the card, by adding a few white Enamel Dot Essentials to the vase & center of the x's.
