Hopefully, everyone had a great weekend! I was busy doing a few things around the house, owning a home is a never ending job. LOL!
Today's card uses two items from the new mini catalog- Merriest Trees Bundle & Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder. I started by stamping the tree from the set using Lemon Lime Twist & Shaded Spruce Ink Pads. I got these colors from a DSP I was going to use but decided to use the embossing folder instead. I die-cut the tree out using the Merriest Tree Dies and a piece of Pecan Pie Cardstock embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder for the trunk. I also used Silver Foil to add the garland to the tree. For the background, I embossed a piece of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock with the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder then used Shaded Spruce Ink with a Blending Brush to go around the edges. The embossed piece of cardstock was then layered onto a piece of Silver Foil, then a Shaded Spruce Cardstock base. I added the tree to the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up then added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels that were colored using the Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends Combo Pack to finish the card.
