Hello stampers,
Today, I thought I would try my hand at what crafters are calling a fractured card. I've seen this trend around but I'm just now getting one done.
For this card, I chose a sentiment from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set, stamping it on Basic White Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink, then die-cut it using the Stylish Shape Dies. I centered this piece onto a piece of Merry Bold & Bright DSP, and then came the fun part by gluing the strips of Poppy Parade & Shaded Spruce Cardstocks around the diamond (aka square) you can use either 1 or 2 strips from what I have seen. Once this was done, I added this to a layer of Shaded Spruce Cardstock & then to a Poppy Parade Cardstock base. I used the Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends to color a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels & placed them on each corner of the diamond to finish the card.
