Hello stampers,
It's the 3rd Monday of the month & that brings another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who share different ideas made with the featured stamp set. This week that stamp set is Cottage Wreaths.
I decided to go with a Christmas theme for today's card. I started with a layer of Crumb Cake Cardstock that I stamped with one of the wreaths multiple times using Shaded Spruce Ink. I then cut 3 1/4" strips using Shaded Spruce & Real Red Cardstock, gluing them to the same layer. This was then glued to a Crumb Card Cardstock base. For the focal point, I stamped the same wreath used on the background & stamped it on Very Vanilla Cardstock, stamped some berries which I then covered with Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics (first time using them, they remind me of Stickles without the glitter & they do take a bit of time to set.) Last minute I decided to stamp a greeting with Real Red Ink before adding the focal point to a Real Red Cardstock layer, then popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished the cards with some Basic Rhinestone Jewels that I colored with Real Red Stampin' Blends.
