Hello stampers,
Today's card was inspired by the Paper Players current challenge #PP682 & continuing to share samples of retiring products.
I started this card using Crumb Cake Cardstock that I die-cut using the retiring Scalloped Contour Dies. What I was thinking of doing wouldn't fit in the smaller space of the die-cut so I ended up stamping the bold flower in the retiring Color & Contour Stamp Set with Lemon Lolly, Highland Heather & Bubble Bath Ink Pads then used Crumb Cake Ink for the outline, then die-cut each flower using the dies. Next, I measured the inside of the scalloped die & cut a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock 1/8" smaller for the background, stamped a sentiment from the stamp set using Crumb Cake Ink & then adhered it to the die-cut. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach each flower die-cut to the background then wrapped Linen Thread around the die-cut before attaching it to a Balmy Blue Cardstock base. I don't remember if I have ever used Balmy Blue & Crumb Cake Cardstocks together but I sure like the combo.
