Hello stampers,
I hope everybody had a safe weekend, we had a quiet one here at home. But yesterday wasn't fun for me at all, I had to have some dental work done, which means I didn't get a card posted for yesterday like I had planned.
I had a reel from Ralph Tindall pop up on Facebook & I thought it would make a great card using Stampin' Up! supplies. I started with a layer of Unbounded Beauty DSP that I attached to a Basic White Cardstock layer, then used a strip of Basic White Cardstock to pencil in lines to cut. Next, I added 2 strips to both cut pieces, cut them down to the size of the layer & attached a piece of retired Vellum to hold the pieces together. I added several dimensional, I would have added Foam Adhesive Strips if I could've figured out where they were *EEK* this was then added to a Petunia Pop Cardstock base. Once the background was in place I added the piece I had cut under the vellum with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For the embossed sentiment, I used the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder which embossed & cut in 1 fell swoop. For the stamped sentiment, I used Petunia Pop Cardstock & Ink with one of the sentiments from the Beach Day Stamp Set.
