Hello stampers,
Oh my gosh, it's been hectic around here lately. If you follow me on Facebook, you know today's blog post was going to be late, I just didn't think this late, but things kept snowballing today.
Today I wanted to showcase the beautiful Thoughtful Journey DSP. I really love these scenic type of DSP's that Stampin' Up! has been putting out because they can do so much on their own without a lot of work if you are running short on time. I chose to use the Wild Wheat Cardstock for the base of the card, as it isn't a color I gravitate to. To give it an extra layer, I chose to attach the DSP to Very Vanilla Cardstock. For the sentiment, I used the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set to stamp it on a scrap piece of Wild Wheat Cardstock with Memento Black Ink then die-cut it with the Stylish Shape Dies. I tied a bow using the Linen Thread and then used Stampin Dimensionals to attach it to the back & pop it up on the card.
Paper Measurements-
- Wild Wheat Cardstock:
- Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
- Sentiment - 1 3/4 x 1 3/4
- Very Vanilla Cardstock:
- Layer - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
- Thoughtful Journey DSP:
- Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
