Latte Love - Best Part Of My Day

OMG it's been a hectic week & it's only Tuesday, well when I wrote this post it was Tuesday. Not only am I volunteering on a regular basis, but on the side, I've been rescuing 3 week old kittens from this terrible heatwave. Somewhere late at night, I'm finding a little time to stamp, but it isn't until late & I regret it when my hubby wakes me up early to feed the babies. I have never really been a morning person so this is a bit hard for me!

Today's card is a pre-retreat challenge for Creativate Summer which was to use 1 stamp set, 2 layers & 3 colors. I think I screwed up when I didn't count the mugs as a layer. OOPS! For my set, I chose to use Latte Love Bundle & the colors I chose were Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushel & Early Espresso. I stamped the base with Early Espresso Ink onto Azure Afternoon Cardstock. I die-cut the mugs using the Latte Love Dies with Azure Afternoon & Blueberry Bushel Cardstocks then added them to an Early Espresso Cardstock square. I messed up by adding the squares or diamonds to a Basic White Cardstock layer. When I read the instructions I read it as Black, White & Vanilla don't count, but what it actually said was that it didn't count as a color. I finished the card by adding a few Tinsel Gems.

  • Layer - 2 1/8 x 1
