Hello stampers,
One of my favorite things about the this year's catalogs are the sketches that are included. Have you noticed them? Today's card uses one from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog on page 16.
I started the card by stamping the house from the Humble Home Bundle with Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then colored it in using Pecan Pie, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight & Deep Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, before using the Humble Home Punch to punch it out. Next, I took some Basic White & Balmy Blue Cardstock scraps & punched out circles using the retired 2 1/2" Circle Punch. I used the Peaceful Evergreen Dies on the Balmy Blue circle to create a snow effect & then glued this to a Basic White circle. I took the 2nd circle & cut it down to use as a snow bank, added a greeting from the Humble Home Stamp Set using Granny Apple Green Ink before gluing to the bottom of the circle & adding the house. I used Granny Apple Green Cardstock for the base & used the retired Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder, then I fussy cut a piece of Take A Bow DSP into a banner & glued it to the embossed part of the card. For the scene, I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up & added a few retired Snowflake Sequins to finish the card. WOW I didn't realize how many retired things I used for this card.
