Hello stampers,
Here it is the 2nd of December & I only have a handful of cards made, EEK! I hope you are farther along than I am.
I had my surgery a week ago Friday & I'm on the mend, last night was the 1st time that I've actually put a card together. But even before that I've been looking at things that have been long retired that I just haven't been able to part with. Today's card uses a retired bundle that I CASE'd from Amanda Bates, but I did make some mild changes.
I started by die-cutting out the lampost & lights using Basic Black & Crushed Curry Cardstocks with the retired Christmas Lampost Dies. For the banner, I used the retired Brightly Lit Christmas Stamp Set with Real Red Ink, then fussy cut it out with Paper Snips. For the background, I used Balmy Blue Cardstock, then used the Craft White Ink Pad to add snow from the stamp set. Lastly, I cut some retired White Velvet Paper to create snowbanks. I adhered everything but the banner with Multi Purpose Liquid Glue, which I used Stampin' Mini Dimensionals. The focal point was then added to a layer of Basic Black Cardstock before being attached to a Real Red Cardstock base.
