Hello stampers,
It's been a while since I made a quilt card, my grandmother was a quilter, so I like that I can use these quilt patterns in my cardmaking. Today's card was inspired by an old tutorial from Julie Heitz aka the Chirpy Quiltmaker of Quilts.
For this card, I chose to use Old Olive & Basic White Cardstocks, along with the Serene Love DSP. For the sentiment, I used the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set to stamp one of the sentiments using the Old Olive Ink Pad, then die-cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture not only to the quilted part but the Old Olive layer behind it. Lastly, I added a few Ombre Dots to finish the card.
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
