Hello stampers,
Happy Frenzy Friday, y'all! Sorry I forgot to "schedule" the few cards I had finished for posts this week. I didn't even notice until yesterday as I've been going to bed & waking up earlier than I'm used to, to go sightseeing with my visitor. So maybe, next year, I'll actually get a week of Christmas in July projects done in July. But I do have at least one Christmas card done in July for this week's sketch.
For today's card, I started out with an Old Olive Card Stock base, followed by a layer of Crumb Cake Card Stock. For the stamped image, I used the new Christmas set, Lots Of Joy, in the current catalog stamped in Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler & Crumb Cake Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I drew a line from the ornament to the top of the card stock with the coordinating marker. For the 1" separated piece I added a bow using the Bow Builder Punch & a 1/4" piece of Merry Moment DSP. I left off the sentiment piece, at least for now as I didn't like the way it was turning out.
This week's sketch was created by Karen Gibson. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
