Artfully Folded

Hello stampers,
Today's card was inspired by a sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches #348. I'm trying to give my mojo some help so that I can try to have a card ready to go at least 5 times a week. Big goal, but we'll see how I do.
I started this card off with a Melon Mambo Card Stock base, followed by a layer of Whisper White Card Stock where I stamped the sentiment from the Artfully Folded Stamp Set in Melon Mambo Ink. Next, I took scraps of Whisper White Card Stock & ran them through the Big Shot using the Stitched Shapes Framelits to make 4 squares. I stamped the largest solid crane from the set in each square with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape & Granny Apple Green Ink. Before adding the squares, I added the line of dots with Daffodil Delight Ink to help center all the squares (I never manage to attach them straight) then popped each square up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Card Measurements
  • Melon Mambo card base- 5.5" x 8.5", scored at 4.25"
  • Whisper White layer- 4" x 5.25", 4 x 1.5" squares
Here is the sketch in case you want to try it on your own.
