So this weekend I was making a last-ditch effort to use all the retiring in colors, as I tended to use 2-3 mostly this year. I also came across an old technique & thought "Why not I haven't done any techniques in a long time!" Today's card features the Faux Tile Technique.
To start this card off, I dusted off my Simply Scored Board & using Basic White Cardstock scored it both ways at 1/2" increments. Next, I brought out my Stamparatus to keep my cardstock in line while I stamped with the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. I used Magenta Madness, Bumblebee & Just Jade Ink Pads for the flowers & leaves. For the sentiment, I used Bumblebee Cardstock & stamped it with a sentiment from the same set using Just Jade Ink then put it at an angle on the card & snipped the ends. The stamped piece was then backed by a layer of Just Jade Cardstock which was then added to the Magenta Madness Cardstock base. I finished the card by adding a few Brushed Brass Butterflies.
