It's Friday! WOOT WOOT! I'm so happy to have below 90's weather for the weekend, I know I live in the middle of the desert but I still hate the heat whether it be dry or humid. Hopefully, you'll have nice weather whereever you are reading this post from. Today, I'm sharing a card with a diagonal cut as the main layer, this is a fun way to show off DSP while doing other things like dry embossing.
The card was started with a Gray Granite Cardstock base, a color found in the DSP. For the layer, I started with Basic White Cardstock (5x2.75) then used the Fern 3D Embossing Folder to emboss it before cutting at an angle. I then attached both pieces to a piece of Sun Prints DSP. I stamped some images from the Nature's Print Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock to stamp 2 images using Gray Granite & Pacific Point Inks then die cut them out using the Nature Prints Dies, I also used this same die set to cut out 2 die cuts with just Gray Granite & Pacific Point Cardstock. I glued the die cuts together using Multipurpose Glue before attaching to the layer. For the sentiment, I used Basic White Cardstock with Pacific Point Ink then cut it out using a retired circle punch then layered it on top of a Gray Granite piece also cut out by a retired scalloped circle punch. To add some bling to the card I used Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
