Sweet Songbird Congratulations

Hello stampers,
Oh my gosh I was so busy yesterday I almost didn't get a card made for today. To help me out a bit I chose to do a color combo challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I started off with a Basic White Cardstock layer that I die-cut using the Scalloped Contours Dies before stamping it with the cute bird & nest from the Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set. The colors we had to use were Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue & Old Olive, which are the colors I used for the bird Balmy Blue & Flirty Flamingo Ink (stamped off once) & the nest using Old Olive Ink. For the sentiment, I chose one from the same set, stamping it using Old Olive Ink again, snipping the ends to make a banner edge using Paper Snips then going around the edge with Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. I chose to use the Design A Daydream DSP layer on top of a Basic White Cardstock base. Once everything was assembled I attached the sentiment with Mini Dimensionals.

Paper Measurements-
  • Basic WhiteCardstock:
    • Base – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
    • Layer- 4 x 2 1/2
    • Sentiment- 1/2 x 2
  • Design A Daydream DSP:
    • Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
~Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
